He never denied walking into a polling place. His mere presence there doesn’t constitute campaigning. That part should be obvious. Unless these people are trying to assert that by virtue of who he is he is always campaigning (even while sleeping one would imagine because he never stops being Bill Clinton) then he did nothing wrong by merely walking into a polling location. That is a super anti-American sentiment, that just because the is who he is, he is not allowed into places where everyone else is welcome.

What a load of crap. He didn’t violate any laws, no matter how many hyperbole memes Bernie’s side creates. The American public’s understanding of election law and how the election system works in this country is tenuous at best. All hail the Idiocracy? Sigh….

UN human rights chief: FBI risks ‘unlocking a Pandora’s Box’ if Apple is forced to unlock iPhone

The U.N. joined Facebook, Google and many other tech firms in backing Apple in the fight with the FBI.

The top human rights authority at the United Nations warned Friday that if the FBI succeeds in forcing Apple to unlock an iPhone used by one of the San Bernardino attackers, it could have “tremendous ramifications” around the world and “potentially [be] a gift to authoritarian regimes, as well as to criminal hackers.”

Documents detail prison assault on Colorado theater shooter | Colorado Springs Gazette, News

DENVER — Colorado theater shooter James Holmes was transferred to another prison partly because another inmate pushed his way through a partially open door and attacked him, according to prison officials and documents released Thursday. Holmes was coming out of an office with a case manager when a corrections officer opened a door to the area. The other inmate pushed his way through as officers tried to close it, according to documents detailing the October incident. The inmate hit Holmes in and around the head before officers pulled them apart.

….Officials refuse to reveal where Holmes is located, even to the families of his victims. The move, which sent him out of state or to a federal facility, was part of an exchange agreement with another prison. Officials refuse to provide details of the trade.

The inmate who attacked Holmes has received money and letters from strangers praising him, according to the documents.

Military Beginning to Recruit Women for Combat Jobs

WASHINGTON (AP) — The military services are already beginning to recruit women for combat jobs, including as Navy SEALs, and could see them serving in previously male-only Army and Marine Corps infantry units by this fall, according to new plans endorsed by Defense Secretary Ash Carter and obtained by The Associated Press.

…All of the services say they have made required changes to base bathrooms and other facilities to accommodate women, and they will monitor training, injury assessments, and possible sexual harassment or assault problems.

…Military services have put together plans outlining exactly how they will incorporate women into the male-only units. The Army intends to first assign female officers to jobs in the infantry and armor units, and then gradually bring in female enlisted soldiers. And it plans to also assign more than one woman in a unit.

…Unlike the Army and Marine Corps, the Air Force said it will not assign women in groups to units, and will instead follow routine assignment procedures.

Nine Republicans Reject Naming Post Office After Maya Angelou

On Capitol Hill a debate over naming a post office after award winning poet and Civil Rights activist, Maya Angelou surprised political watchers.

While Maya Angelou did many good things in her life, Congressman Mo Brooks (AL-5) did not believe it appropriate to name an American Post Office after a communist sympathizer and thereby honor a person who openly opposed America’s interest by supporting Fidel Castro and his regime of civil rights suppression, torture and murder of freedom-loving Cubans,” Lauren Vandiver, a spokesperson for Brooks, told NBC News in a statement.

Psst, ladies….
Institutionalizing the idea that the biology of gender prevents women from working as well or as regularly as their peers in not progress.
This is a huge step backwards.
