[Silverman] posed a pertinent question – she suggested that since we defend the right to enact laws that makes it difficult for women to terminate unwanted pregnancies, shouldn’t we also legislate male masturbation?

“Here’s something that I learned that is fascinating, and it’s this: Scientists have found that sperms cells smell,” Silverman said. “Like I know sperm smells, but sperm cells have the sense of smell, and you know what that means: Sperm is life. The uniform is traditional, and central to the ideals of the nearly 175-year-old public military college in South Carolina, so the fact that it was considering an exception to it for an accepted student set off shock waves among alumni. The idea pleased some in the close-knit corps, who felt it could be an important symbol of religious freedom and inclusiveness. But it upset others who felt it would clash with the mission and ideals of the Citadel, where loyalty, teamwork and uniformity are paramount.

In our final year at school, we studied world religions. This led to the inevitable question of how did we know (how does anyone know?) that our religion was the true one? How could everyone be right? The nun who was teaching us came up with this image:

The FBI agents and Southwest employees involved should be dismissed for poor judgement and the airline folk should be charged and prosecuted for unlawful detention, hate crimes, and wasting tax-payer resources.
