What goes through my my mind when I read the news with my morning coffee. …Or for the Simon's Rockers in the group, this is my response journal.
FBI: Obama, Holder Not Involved Assata Shakur “Most Wanted Terrorists” Decision | Politic365
Bullshit. It has their un-American ‘fuck the poor, women, minorities and activists of conscience’ signature all over it.
Teen Girl Expelled, Charged With a Felony After Science Experiment Goes Awry – Yahoo! News
WTF?
Society is so rigid, so stupid. It’s just fucked.
… and so are the kids who will inherit it.
U.S. Set to Grab Alleged Jamaican Drug Lord Christopher ‘Dudus’ Coke – ABC News
In other news, the US government goes in, messes thing up, causes civilians and military deaths and doesn’t get their man. We created a clusterfuck.
The US of A: clusterfucks are our speciality.

Obama And Graham In Talks To Modify Miranda Law
That Bush White House.
…Always trying to get around the laws and hold people indefinitely without allowing them the rights guaranteed to them under the laws of this country. Always trying to change the laws so they don’t apply to whomever they see fit. Damn you, Bush Administration!

Congress Hears Dramatic Rape Kit Testimony – CBS Evening News – CBS News
The sad thing is that hearing that there are several thousand untested rape-kits, and several thousand cases that were never followed up on does not surprise me a bit. Our justice system makes money for prison guard unions and the private contractors that run prisons. It’s an industry. Period. Hey ladies, no one ever said getting tough on crime had anything to do with justice.
For D.C., hope in treating young offenders – USATODAY.com
It’s a shame we have steered away from programs like this. Society benefits and it is the right thing to do?
How does society benefit by being “soft on crime?” Economically for one. Taxpayers are preferable to inmates.
Print Story: Family: 7-year-old shot by police was asleep – Yahoo! News
If anyone other than a cop’s gun had gone off and shot and killed a seven year old girl that person would be arrested, accident or no.
The officer shouldn’t be suspended, he should be prosecuted.
How about some accountability behind the thin blue line??
Where have I heard this little ditty before?
“invokes new powers”
….As in the sub-title to an AP article I found on abc.com about the ongoing battle between the ACLU and the White House over whether or not to release pictures of detainees being subjected to abuse by their American captors.
Obviously endangering the troops is bad. Invoking new powers to do so strikes me as pretty bad too though. Then again, what do I know? I’m only a voter.
