Another case of cops refusing to let things like compassion, human decency, and being charged with protecting -a.k.a. not harming – the citizenry get in the way of needlessly putting another living, breathing human being’s live in danger.
It would have been easier on everyone if the first cop on the scene had just walked upstairs and shot the guy in the head.
