A small riot erupted in Salt Lake City after police shot a teenage boy near a homeless shelter on Saturday night.

The shooting occurred at around 8pm in the northern part of the city, near a shopping mall about five miles east of the airport. Witness Selam Mohammed, 19, told local news outlets that his friend was trying to break up a fight outside the Road Home, a homeless shelter, when police arrived on the scene.

We need to stop tolerating cops who kill at will. They are not justified. It is not understandable. It is murder pure and simple. Betraying the public’s trust need to be severely punished, every single fucking time. There is no excuse for giving racist thugs special privileges. Shoot an unarmed person? Lose your badge and pension. Every single time. If it turns out a cop shoots someone when they were not in danger then it needs to be lengthy jail sentences. Every single time. The police involved need to be tried, convicted of murder, and jailed for 1st degree murder.
