Al Jazeera acquires Al Gore’s Current TV – CBS News

It’s a shame but this is a win for everyone, especially the viewing audience.

Current was a great idea but the MTV VJ-ish personalities got so pleased with themselves it was barely palatable before whats his namebrought his brand of off-putting self-satisfied preaching to the choir to the network.

Shame really, they had some good investigative journalism going on… And it’s nto like there is a lot of that.

Al Jazeera may not be BBC but they do seem to like facts and that’s not easy to comeby in a cable news outfit…
