Our country is broken and so is the justice system.
Every single police officer in this country is complicit in not enforcing the law, and hence is as corrupt as if they were planting evidence.
Although this story is NOT newsworthy because this shit happens all of the time, everyday, everywhere I hope it continues to get media attention.
I hope not only is the murderous racist heading to jail but the officers who took the reports and DID NOT arrest him and tried to reshape witness accounts to fit into what they (judge and jury) had already decided happened go to jail to.
They are derelict in their jobs in the very least and a danger to the society they supposedly serve.
