Misleading Congress? What you think because you are given an important job you think you are above the laws of this country? I hope suits are filed and individuals at DHS face criminal charges for trying to lie to Congress as well as for acting against national interests by wasting time and money spying on people working to improve their communities instead of trying to find people who are going to try to kill us all.
I think the entire DHS should be shitcanned. It is a failed experiment, intelligence agencies will not work together and the powers that be at DHS are clearly more interested in witch hunts than protecting the public from terrorist. Fire all of them.
Seriously I want a new law. If you cannot explain to Congres what the purpose of a program is without lying you immediately lose funding. I’d also like it to feature the following amendment: If you try to mislead Congress you get arrested and thrown in jail for treason.
