The 100 mill is bullshit but gotta hand it to Masengill, the 20 billion paid over four years, with no indemnity from paying more, while the Gov holds equivalent assets in escrow until the amount is paid is nice work.

Side note…. I’ve heard people referring to the Swedish guy’s gaffe as a matter of the idiom not be translated well from English to Swedish and back. Perhaps the fuzzy translation was more a matter of cultural language. In the US a man in his position does not want to be known as looking out for the little guy, he wants to be known for being one of them. We do looooove our pseudo-pop-populism here, on both sides of the isle.
