Remember yesterday when the NY Times reported on the drastic increase in Bronx murders over the last 5 weeks and how no one at the NYPD could figure out what was causing it? Me too. I believe it went something like this, “No one factor can explain the violence, officials said. It is not a single clash between groups, confined and contained, so much as an accumulation of robberies, deadly family squabbles and turf battles between local crews and marijuana dealers that are scattered across neighborhoods.”
That was yesterday, right? Right. OK, then. So NYPD, worst PD in the country or just the worst VICE squad?????
Violent marijuana dealers? And no mention of heroin, the drug which has ALWAYS come through NYC. I’m thinking at least the NYPD has to have the absolute worst detectives in the history of police work if they couldn’t come up with a better explanation for the surge in violence than a pot dealer turf war. Remind me again, which set of dealers typically carries? Fucking morons at NYPD and the NY Times both. I am so glad my safety doesn’t depend on useless morons like the wastes of oxygen at NYPD Vice.
