Obama might be an idiot sometimes but he’s not a vengeful, hateful, bratty, spoilt little bastard of a grown toddler.
That description suits most of his opponents (and hey, some supporters too) though.
The more Obama can do without consulting those little bitches, the more he will accomplish, and the better he will do by the American people.

There has been no definitive report, just a lot of innuendo. Truthfully the public doesn’t know what happened.
I think it was short-sighted and tactically weak to try and make a hero out of the young man in this media climate.
I suspect a message of, ‘we don’t leave anyone behind,’ would have played better.
I am -for the record- in favor of the swap which returned him. (Um, we don’t leave anyone behind? And seriously, would we have applied these standards to AWOL/POW soldiers in Vietnam? I hope to gawd not!)
