God… Israel is such a racist, fascist state.

Seriously I’m pro-Israel and I definitely think they have the right to exist.
I don’t think they have the right to be a religious and solely Jewish state anymore though.
If they ever had that right they chose to be absolute cocks about it and lost that privilege.
They keep their neighbors in apartheid and they treat “others” like their lives are not worth as much as Israeli Jews.
If they don’t want to compared to S African Apartheid or Nazi’s then they damn well better stop acting like them.

I refuse to have any sympathy for any of the Israeli government’s positions until it starts treating Arabs and/or Muslims like they have the same right to be alive, own property, determine the course of their own lives and live protected from violence as much as Jewish residents of Israel do.

Why is it so hard so you to understand that someone could appreciate a joke without actually living every moment of their lives?
What makes you an expert on the people buying this book?

You’re like the lady baby boomer retired psychologist who thinks she is in a position to be an expert on the lives of every person she cross paths with on the street and gives out a bunch of way off base unsolicited advice because it never occurs to her that she doesn’t know everything and not everyone needs her help to get through life.

One wonders what kind of childhood the author had, what kind of parent they are. They have to get their whackodoodle ideas from somewhere, right? In anycase they sound like a fairly unpleasant person who children would definitely want them to be around a lot less.

And that is at least based on some information about the author and their own words and opinions, which is a shitload more than the author had to go on before they summarily described themselves as such a god damn expert on the lives of people they hadn’t met.

The first lady said people expect a lot from her overworked husband and that some won’t ever think what he does is enough.

“He would love to be here but there’s a lot of work to do on the domestic front,” she told four American reporters traveling with her. “And as president it’s hard to predict and plan internationally because you’ve got domestic stuff hitting you left and right”.

“Africa’s absolutely important to him,” she added. “I understand why people feel like they want more. It’s a big continent, a lot of challenges. But I think his record and the number of senior officials who’ve spent so much time in Africa … that is a reflection of this administration’s commitment to this continent.”

Africa is a big place and honestly I’d be curious to see what conversations she had about race elsewhere on the continent but if I was an Obama adviser I wouldn’t let her go anywhere but South Africa until he was reelected.
