Washington, D.C. passed a new regulation on Monday that allows the city to make exceptions for elderly residents applying for a driver’s license or photo ID. Under the new regulation, D.C. officials will now have the discretion to make exceptions for federal requirements for any D.C. resident over the age of 70, whereby they can come up with other acceptable documents.

The new laws are absolute rubbish. Nothing more than blatant discrimination against the elderly, handicapped, and lower income citizens. There is zero national security gain. It’s all total bullshit.

The new DC law should be just the start of repealing these 1984-style, discriminatory, unjust, and flagrantly un-American laws.
