Oh my god, seriously? We’re American, our cuisine is food from all over the globe. Obviously I’m all for respect other cultures but when does this self-effacing, I like to feel important by being more considerate -even in totally meaningless full of myself bullshit ways- than anyone else in the room post-PC madness.
