Donald Trump vowed to deport Jeb Bush’s Mexican-born wife on Monday as he called to end the policy of citizenship by marriage.“She has to go,” Trump said via conference call of Jeb Bush’s Mexican-American wife, adding: “What she’s doing, she’s having sex with an American. And then all of a sudden she’s American? That doesn’t make her American.”
Spouses of United States citizens have been able gain permanent resident status and seek citizenship (after 3 years) since the adoption of the 14th Amendment of the Constitution in 1868.
On the conference call one reporter asked if Trump’s policy would affect his own wife Melania, who immigrated to the USA from her native country of Slovenia.“No, Melania is a beautiful piece of ass so this doesn’t apply to her. We’re talking about Mexicans here, stop trying to change the subject. Go back to Mexico!”
