One of Justice Kennedy’s defining characteristics on the court is his belief in its role in recognizing evolving standards of humanity and equality and moving the nation forward. And it looks like this is the next place he’d like to go. He just needs “a case that present(s) the issue.”  May it, and justice, come swiftly.
