Truthfully I don’t get my news from The Daily Show or the Colbert Report.

They might highlight a story I’m not seeing very much of but as general rule I’m not getting my news from them.

I’m getting my, “Oh, thank gawd I’m not the only who thinks that shit is fucked up,” from them.

I’d wager most people who actually claim to get their news from Comedy Central are doing the same.
