I read all of the apologist answers to this meme and they are bullshit, Common Core is a textbook selling scheme that is setting our kids behind, especially in poor neighborhoods where they can’t afford new textbooks each year. Most importantly though, if you do math this way on the job, you will lose your job. Period.
