It occurs to me that in Capitalism -and in any other economic system I can think of- there is always going to be someone on the top of the ladder who controls the purse strings.

That person doesn’t have to be a dick about it though. It can work out well for everyone, on every rung of the ladder. …And perhaps when it does, the entire business is stronger for it.

Take that 30-day profit window geared towards stock-holders, businesses can be strong, stable and profitable when every employee, at every level, is getting enough to create a good standard of living with.
