Some clueless, sanctimonious and holier than thou asshole on facebook blames the Onion and Seth McFarland for incidents like this.

That, in my mind. is twice as obnoxious as UNC’s position on this. No one making a joke is telling the school that it is OK to never take raper seriously. To blame comedians for real life actions of others is to take responsibility off the shoulders of those who actions truly deserve our condemnation.

Are musicians responsibility for teens going on killing sprees? Hell to the no. Art is art. Life is life and to confuse the two only lets the bad guys off the hook.

All women spit on bullshit logic that that and keep their condemnation focused strictly on the perpetrators of sexual assault and the institutions that enable assailants to get away with it.

Blaming artists is an insulting cop-out.
