The Anarchist Soccer Mom: Thinking the Unthinkable

A few  things…

1.) Reagan gutted our mental health system and look where we are, an over medicated society with no mental health system or safety net to help people before problems blow up.
2.) Jail is not the solution for someone who hasn’t committed a crime yet…

3.) Not every problem child is a ticking time bomb or a killer.

People are going to read this and start justifying throwing anyone who acts differently or makes other people uncomfortable into therapy against their will.  if

I see a lot of parents feeling justified in forcing unnecessary therapy and high powered drugs they barely understand onto their otherwise normal rebellious teenagers if this sort of thinking catches on. Sigh, helicopter parents are going to traumatize a lot of kids over little things. Those tunnel-visioned drama types have no sense of perspective….
