Marissa Mayer gives birth to baby boy: Yahoo CEO’s short maternity leave is a big mistake.
Oh fuck you, you dry canalled harpy. You aren’t raising the kid, Mayer and her husband are.
If she wasn’t the type to want to keep working she wouldn’t be the CEO type, would she?
How often do male CEO’s get criticized for not taking time off for their children’s arrival into this world? How often do you fret and wail and nash your sanctimonious hater teeth at the damage the CEO will do to his young brood by going back to work? That often, eh?
You personally may not be the type of woman who can have it all, but perhaps Mayer can. Why don’t you stuff your jealous hater snark into your fucking pie-hole and get the hell out of the way of women who are capable of more than your puny brain can conceive of?
“she has a responsibility to, you know, parent her infant full time for awhile.”
Really? And CEO’s who are fathers do not?
You’re clearly not talking about mother taking more responsibility for parenting, you are literally saying they have more responsibility for parenting. What about the inverse? Do men have more responsibility to work outside the home and provide than their partners? What a delightfully (not!) 1950’s load of bullshit you are feeding yourself.
Why the hell should another woman be subjected to the limitation that you are imposing on yourself? Because you aren’t capable of as much as she is? I think not. You are an embaressment who belongs in the dust bins of cultural history and I can’t wait until people like die off.
If there is any doubt about how ridiculously trite and conflicted the bile the author tries to pass off as a reasoned opinion just look at the wording of her closing sentence:
“Because you are not just a CEO anymore. You are not only responsible for a huge corporation and thousands of employees. Life changes, priorities shift. You are a parent.”
Exactly, you snivelling loser. It isn’t more of a priority for women than men. Parenting should be a priority for ALL parents. Since I don’t here you bemoaning the lack of time male CEOs take off to get to know a new child why don’t you sit the fuck down and shut up like a good little subservient brooding sow who cannot use will to over-rule what she has been manipulated into thinking is her biologically determined place: in the home, rearing her young. A lesser creature, the mother; not as capable as the father, almost akin to a domesticated animal in her stature and capacities. No? That’s not what you were saying Allison? Really? Go ahead and reread what you just wrote. Take your time, you incapable, fragile, hormonally ruled creature you.
