No, he didn’t just “run into” trouble. He created trouble. He set a course directly for the trouble he created. He drove straight into trouble, and when he got to trouble he got out of the car and rolled around in it.

Who the fuck are these morons who were incapable of the same cognitive skills 4 years ago that they supposedly possess to day? Half of the crap the POTUS shit out of his mouth on the campaign trail fours years way completely and obviously totally unrealistic to anyone who has ever watched C-SPAN for a half hour. To say it appeared as anything other than smoking pile of horseshit when it was rolling out of the POTUS’s mouth is ridiculous.

To suggest that the President was naive enough to believe any of the bullcrap he was promising people on the campaign trail seriously undermines any image of the POTUS as a sentient, educated, informed man.

If it wasn’t blatantly crass, arrogant and self-serving manipulation, if he really and truly believed that he could makes things happen that any 8 year old civic class student could have told him were impossible then he certainly wasn’t particularly qualified or experienced enough to merit the job, was he?

The fact is that either the POTUS is an arrogant, dishonest fuck or he’s an idiot.
