CNN is blabbering on for a minute or two every fifteen minutes about this issue this morning. “Why are the candidates focusing on social issues? Why aren’t they talking about the economy? If the economy is the main concern of voters, why aren’t we seeing some big, bold plans from the candidates?” Interesting story. Except CNN doesn’t seem to think it is particularly interesting either. They have zero on their website about it and they are tucking it in in between John Edward’s trial, Mark Zuckerberg, the Yahoo Executive getting busted padding his interview and the JP Morgan 2 billion dollar loss. Just more trite tabloid fodder I guess. Now they are having this bullshit debate where one of guys says people don’t want to talk about economics, it’s not as interesting as gay marriage. Voters don’t like answers and the discussion bores them. Right because when peopel are starving and scared about housing their kids talking about gay marriage is the best way to address those problems. The guy they have on to refute this fece is a writer for ESPN -because yo know, a write for a sports network is the best person to discuss the fucking economy. I suppose he is equally as capable and less grating than the other douchebag they have talking.
