Letting teen drink under parent's watch backfires – Health – Kids and parenting – msnbc.com
who pitched this story?
What a load of horseshit.
I’ve got another conclusion one can draw from a survey done eigth graders.
Nothing. Talk to them when they are sixteen and differentiate between a sip and a drink.
Eight graders? I thought this article was about prom age kids. I haven’t heard of too many parents who allow eigth graders to drink with their friends in their home.
How about some numbers that apply to the issue?
I don’t buy the statistics as presents. I bet you could find a slew of numbers backing up the assertion that young people who learn to how to have more than a sip as older teen agers in an environment where they go to be supervised by adults are less likely to engage in dangerous binge drinking at college.
