It doesn’t matter if he meant to kill someone that night.
What matters is that he did kill someone that night.
If we are going to claim we live in a free society it is imperitive that we hold our officers of the law up to the same standards of legality as the rest of us.
It is obscene that it took this long for a police officer who was responsible for the death of a citizen to be charged and convicted.
