If civilians were to even accidentally be responsible for the death of another human being they would be arrested and prosecuted according to the laws of this country. If a civilian was so brutally inhumane as to allow an injured person to bleed to death on the street the charges and punishments would be even more severe. What is happening to these cops? Have they been arrested for second degree murder yet?
Cops are not above the law. There should be the same consequences for harming, injuring or wronging someone that there is for every other person on the planet. By not having the same consequences the cops have no motivation to take care to spare lives, to investigate things fully to actually do the job they were supposedly hired to do. If they can kill someone without being charged with murder then they are above the law. And in my opinion if the bastards are treated like they are above the law, then they have no authority to enforce it. they have lost their authority. I want to see the officers involved arrested charged and held the same as they would to do a civilian. If they can’t do that they don’t uphold the law they break it, so why should any citizen have to listen to these lawbreaking criminals? they shouldn’t.
If the cops have the authority to shoot without provocation then the citizenry should have the right to shoot back without recourse.
